Who Qualifies To Get A Bursary Or Student Loan From NSFAS?

The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has officially opened the 2025 application procedure.

Applications are now open and can shut on fifteen December 2024.

*** Who qualifies for NSFAS funding

To qualify for NSFAS funding, an applicant will have to fulfill the following criteria:

• Be a South African citizen or copyright who arises from a house using a combined gross residence earnings that doesn't exceed R350 000 for every annum.

• People with disabilities qualify if their combined household earnings isn't going to exceed R600 000 per annum.

• SASSA recipients immediately qualify for funding and wish not submit any proof of income.

The NSFAS Loan Scheme for the missing middle is open up to all South African nsfas status citizens and permanent inhabitants from homes with combined R350 000 and R600 000 for each annum.
